TROOP

Our Program

Participating youth exhibit great leadership potential on trips and demonstrate many competencies that are useful for employment applications and interviews. TROOP focuses on their future education and employment goals while strengthening relationships with the police officers who will assist them. The highlight of our work over the course of this year will be a wilderness canoe trip to Algonquin Provincial Park.  During this 4 day excursion, youth will be provided training and certification from Ontario Recreational Canoe and Kayak Association instructors in Basic Canoe skills and Trip Leadership.
